Central Bureau of Statistics: Tourist arrivals up 7.5 percent

In the January-November period of 2007, Croatia was visited by 10.99 million tourists, who made 55.61 million overnight stays. Almost 84 percent of the arrivals were foreign tourists who accounted for 89 percent of overnight stays, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Monday.

This year's tourist arrivals rose by 7.5 percent, while overnight stays went up 5.6 percent in comparison to the same period of 2006.

Compared to November 2006, this November saw an 11 percent increase in tourist arrivals and a 13.6 percent rise in overnight stays.
